Giulia Schneider graduated in law at Sant’Anna School of advanced studies in Pisa and is currently a PhD Candidate in Legal Studies- curriculum International Law & Economics- at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy). Her PhD research focuses on the regulation of digital health markets from the perspective of European Union law, with specific regards to data protection and intellectual property law. She has published several papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented her research findings in international conferences both in Europe (e.g. Lse International Health Policy Conference 2017; Católica Graduate Research Conference 2018- the Future of Health Law) and the USA. She has been a visiting researcher at the Health, Ethics and Policy Lab at ETH (Zürich) and holds a scholarship from the Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition in Munich.
